Microsoft Windows or knows Windows is a family of operating
systems which developed by Microsoft, using the graphical user interface. In
general, Windows is basic software to run other software (programs). Operating
system "Windows" made by a company called Microsoft located in the
United States and led by Bill Gates.
The Windows operating system is started from MS-DOS is an
operating system based on text mode and command-line.
The first version of Windows is Windows Graphic Environment
1.0 was first introduced on 10 November 1983, but released to the market in
November 1985, designed to meet the needs of the computer to display a picture.
Windows 1.0 is a software 16-bit (not an operating system) running on top of
MS-DOS (and some variants of MS-DOS), so it will not be able to run without the
operating system DOS. Version 2.x, 3.x versions are also same. Some recent
versions of Windows (started from version 4.0 and Windows NT 3.1) are an
independent operating system that no longer depends on the operating system
MS-DOS. Next version of Microsoft Windows growing and can be controlled using
the operating system up to 90%.
